A monthly pipeline that eliminates the manual work of filing lodging tax for my Airbnb. Claude Code reads receipt emails from Gmail, extracts booking data from PDF attachments (nights stayed, revenue, platform), and emails me a clean summary with the exact totals I need to enter into my tax software. Runs automatically on a schedule via Claude Code Routines — a hybrid of the native Gmail MCP connector and Python (pdfplumber) for the PDF parsing that the cloud environment couldn't handle directly.
